FINALLY, exams are done. It's been a long, rough year. It will definitely be good to have a break for awhile.

My residency in LA was approved, so Emma and I will be returning to LA.. sometime. We're trying to enjoy a little med school free time here in New York before we leave. Her dick of an ex-husband is in LA and I'd rather keep her here as long as possible

I still haven't worked up the nerve to ask her. I have the ring. It's hidden in one of my drawers, which might not be the best place for it since she's essentially living with me, but I haven't found a better hiding spot for it, yet. I'm nervous. I've seen her after she's been forced to deal with her ex. What if she's not ready? What if she doesn't want to get married again?
I love her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I know she feels the same way, but.. I'm still nervous.
